As you probably know, Life Source Services hospice has an amazing staff of hospice caregivers that are key to the services we provide throughout New Jersey. As a part of our newsletter series, our last edition featured Stella Freid. We’d like to take this opportunity to share with you more information about Stella. Stella, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has worked at Life Source Services Hospice for 9 years. Stella’s academic background includes an MSW degree from Rutgers and a B.A. degree in English. She is professionally certified as a licensed social worker and received a Certificate in Gerontology from Rutgers University. Additionally, Stella did a Gerontology Fellowship at the John A. Hartford Foundation. Many of Stella’s acquaintances are fascinated by the process of dying and ask her many questions. Stella
herself has learned some valuable life lessons on making the most of the time she has, focusing on interesting and thought provoking experiences and identifying what values are important to her.
