Life Source Hospice has been an active member of the NJ Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NJHPCO) for 12 years. NJHPCO’s primary mission is to represent the NJ hospice community to public policymakers, payors, insurers, providers, patients, and family members. The services offered include providing extensive web-based guidance for hospice selection by patients and families, holding ongoing educational program for hospice staff and volunteers, and annually recognizing excellence in hospice caregiving. NJHPCO awards have been received by Life Source Services Hospice chaplains, an LPN, and a volunteer. Life Source Hospice Executive Director Karen D’Imperio has served on the NJHPCO Board of Directors, Ethics Committee, and is currently involved in fund development. Joe McArdle, Life Source Service Hospice’s Social Worker, is active in the NJHPCO Veterans Partnership.
